EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting multiple Mechanical Engineers to join a well-established engineering company located in North Nottingham, employed on a permanent basis.

Our client is unable to support visa applications from residents outside of the UK. Only applications meeting this criteria will be considered.

EMBS Engineering is in exclusive partnership with a client in North Nottinghamshire that specialises in the repair, maintenance, overhaul and distribution of products on behalf of some of the world's leading manufacturers of automatic transmissions, drivetrain systems, and diesel engines.

Your responsibilities include:

• Stripping / disassembling, repair & overhaul, and re-assembly of engines
• Some occasional work on axels, transmissions and transfer cases
• Inspection of parts
• Diagnostic and fault finding of failed units / parts
• Testing and evaluating completed units to ensure product reliability
• Painting, palletising, and shipping of completed units
• Completion of associated documentation

​​​​Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:​​​​ ​​​​​

• Strong mechanical engineering background
• Experience working with engines and transmissions within an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Ability to perform fault finding and diagnostics
• Exhibit high attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office when completing paperwork
• Full UK driving license

This role would be ideal for either; experienced engineers who have previously worked with engines such as; Engine Builders, Mechanical Assemblers, Mechanical Fitters, Vehicle Build Technicians etc. OR for Mechanics currently working with automobiles who are looking for a varied and challenging opportunity, putting their experience to the test!
