EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Welding Coordinator to join a precision engineering company located in Walsall working on a permanent basis.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Review welding requirements
• Issuing weld consumables and procedures
• Responsibility for the jobs once they are released
• Putting together weld history sheets
• Support the calibration and maintenance of welding plant and equipment

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

• Experience of working within a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of different engineering documentation and certificates
• Welding background is highly desirable
• Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders within the business and externally 
• Organised, methodical approach 
• Computer literate - proficient use of Word and Excel
