EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Materials Handling Operative to join a precision engineering company located in North Nottingham, working permanently.

Due to the nature of the work & industries supported within this position, candidates may be subject to requiring security clearances, therefore, our client is unable to support visa applications from residents outside of the UK. Only applications meeting this criteria will be considered.

EMBS Engineering is in exclusive partnership with an award-winning precision engineering company located in Nottinghamshire that is a leading specialist in the manufacture of machined and fabricated turn key components.

Responsibilities;

• Material review
• GoodsIn receipt of raw materials and inputting data onto MRP
• Communicate with suppliers
• Administration of data records and material certification
• Stock check / reviews
• Collate capacity reports
• Perform occasional material handling duties as and when required

Candidate MUST be able to demonstrate;

• Previous Stores/ Stock Control experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Ability to perform GoodsIn receipt inspection and input relevant information onto MRP
• Record data accurately
• Computer literate
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience carrying out stock/inventory control duties
• FLT licence is an essential 

Desirable;

• Previous band saw experience would be desirable but not essential 
• Use of MRP is desirable but not essential
• Previous material handling / manual handling experience would be advantageous
