What does the role involve?

EMBS Engineering is in partnership with an engineering company located in Nuneaton that manufactures a range of different engineering technologies to create and develop specialist components. Due to our client's increased workload, following huge excessive sales already next year over-achieving their annual target, they are looking to expand their machining department and are therefore looking for a CNC Machinist to join their growing team and support with new and exciting projects.

Located at their site in Nuneaton, as a CNC Machinist you will be working alongside talented engineers, testing yourself to manufacture challenging parts and materials.
As a CNC Machinist you will be responsible for setting and operating 3 and 5 axis milling machines to create bespoke, one off components, from varying materials and reading and interpreting engineering drawings.  


What experience do you need?

• Strong precision engineering background, with a minimum of 3 years experience 
• Experience setting and operating CNC Milling Machines 
• Confident with multi axis (3 and/or 5) CNC Milling machines
• Experience working with Heidenhain and/or Mazatrol is essential 
• Previous machined complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil & Gas etc
• Previously worked with Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Carbon Fibre and Titanium  
• Experience with machining to tight tolerances
• Confident with low volume bespoke components 
• Confident working with small to medium-sized components 
• Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experienced self inspecting own parts using manual measuring equipment
