EMBS Engineering is in partnership with an engineering company located in Derbyshire that develops specialist components to be supplied into Defence, Aerospace, Industrial, Power and a range of high-profile markets.
Due to the latest expansion within their fabrication division, they are looking for experienced and skilled Sheet Metal Workers to join their fast paced and stimulating working environment. Not only will you have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, you will also be given opportunities to further develop your skills and career.
Located at their site in Derby, you will be working alongside talented engineers on modern, up-to-date equipment, testing yourself against challenging intricate parts and materials.
As a Sheet Metal Worker, you would be working with aluminum and using a variety of methods such as hand forming, grinding, and stretching. You would be reading and interpreting engineering drawings and working to tight tolerances.

As a Sheet Metal Worker, you would be working with aluminum and using a variety of methods such as hand forming, grinding, and stretching. You would be reading and interpreting engineering drawings and working to tight tolerances.
What experience do you need?
- 3 years minimum experience as a Sheet Metal Worker - Preferably within the Aerospace industry
- Experience with techniques such as; riveting, spot welding, bonding and brazing
- Proven use of sheet metal machinery and hand tools
- Worked with thin gauge material (0.5mm - 3mm), including Titanium, Stainless Steel and Nickel Alloys
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Worked to tight tolerances
- TIG Welding experience (Not essential but advantageous)

- Day shift - 7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, and 7am to 12pm on Fridays
