ASSEMBLY FITTER

Salary: Circa £14.50 per hour + shift allowance

What does the role involve?
EMBS Engineering is in partnership with a reputable engineering company located in Nottinghamshire that is a globally recognised, market-leading precision engineering/manufacturing business that supports world-renowned industry leaders. 

Due to our client's increased workload, they are looking to expand their workforce and are therefore looking for Assembly Fitters to join their growing team and support with new and exciting projects.

As an Assembly Fitter, you will be working closely with a team to build precision-engineered components for predominantly high-profile aerospace customers.

What experience do you need?

• Previous assembly/fitting experience within precision engineering
• Previous background of working with small to medium-sized precision components for high-profile industries including; Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Nuclear, Oil & Gas etc
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Able to use handheld, power and pneumatic tools  such as; grinders, cutters, drills, saws, torque wrenches etc
• Experience in welding, deburring, pot riveting, countersinking, manual drilling and bench work using jigs and fixtures
• Previous experience with CNC Machining would also be advantageous
