EMBS Engineering is in partnership with an engineering company located in Derby that develops specialist components to be supplied into Aerospace, Industrial, Power and a range of high-profile markets. 

Due to the recent expansion within the company, they are looking for a Part Marker to join them on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy and fast-paced environment where they will have the opportunity to learn and progress. 

As a part marker, your responsibilities will include producing clear part/batch numbers and indicating part status using approved marking methods. You must maintain tools and machinery, follow safety guidelines, and ensure proper identification and traceability of materials throughout the manufacturing process.

What experience do you need ?

• Experience of working on a shop floor/manufacturing/labouring or similar environment - Aerospace would be preferable 
• Previous experience of engraving / marking parts using methods such as Vibro Etching, Chemi etching, Ink etc would be preferable but not essential 
• An ability to follow procedures and protocols
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Good basic literacy and numeracy skills

• Permanent position
• Circa £24,000  + Shift allowance
• Hours:  PM - 3pm - 1am Monday, 3pm - 12.30am Tue to Thur (36.5 hours)
