What does the role involve?
EMBS Engineering is currently working in partnership with a well-established, advanced manufacturing engineering business located in Derbyshire. The client offers a single source service to world-leading customers across various industries such as Aerospace, Nuclear & Power.
Currently, our client is seeking a proficient CNC Miller to become a valued member of their team on a permanent, full-time basis. As a CNC Turner, your primary duties will involve setting up, operating, and editing DMG machines using Siemens controls equipped with live tooling. You will produce intricate components, enabling you to work with precision on high-quality parts made from various materials.

What experience do you need?
- Strong precision engineering background
- Minimum 3 years experience as a CNC Miller
- Ability to set, operate, and edit multi-axis CNC Machines using Siemens controls
- Previous machined complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil & Gas etc
- Previously worked with Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Titanium
- Experience with machining to tight tolerances
- Confident working with small to medium-sized components
- Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
- Overhead Crane experience

- Hourly rate: £17.50 - £18.50 per hour, depending on experience
