EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join a precision engineering company located in North Nottingham, working on a permanent basis.

Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

EMBS Engineering is in partnership with a precision engineering company located in Nottingham that is a leading specialist in manufacturing precision-engineered components. 


Your responsibilities include:

• Machining small to medium-sized precision components using various materials such as Aluminium , Stainless Steel, Titanium for high- profile industries including Aerospace , Automotive and many more! 
• Setting and operating CNC Turning machines Mazatrol, Fanuc, Heidenhain or similar software packages
• Working from engineering drawings 

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

• Atleast 2 years previous background of machining small to medium-sized precision components for high-profile industries including; Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Medical, or any other advanced manufacturing sectors
• Ability to set and operate CNC Turning Machines using Mazatrol, Fanuc, Heidenhain or similar software packages
• Work with various materials such as Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Titanium etc
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Able to self-inspect own parts using manual measuring equipment
