What does the role involve?
EMBS Engineering is working in partnership with a leading, growing engineering company that manufactures small to medium-sized precision components for a number of high-profile industry sectors such as Motorsport & Automotive and Defence.

As a Customer Account Manager you will play an integral part of the business to ensure customer satisfaction. You will be required to build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and various stakeholders to ensure expectations are managed.
Responsibilities will include;

• Visiting customers to carry out account reviews
• Managing change requests
• Take the lead in ensuring projects are managed in a timely manner 
• Negotiate pricing, terms and supplier agreements
• Oversee the full sales order process checking for any potential shortfalls and actioning accordingly 
• Liaise with production planning teams to establish dates and monitor progress of orders

• Minimum 5 years experience of working in a similar role where customer account management is key
• 3 years sales and commercial background
• Proficient French speaking is essential
• Strong capabilities managing customer expectations, building relationships and supporting with a wide range of customer requirements
• Engineering background within automotive, motorsport, aerospace, defence or similar manufacturing markets
• Technical knowledge of products within precision engineering
