EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for an Assembly Technician to join a precision engineering company located in Tamworth, working on a permanent basis.

Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Our client manufactures small to medium-sized complex precision components for high-profile customers within a wide range of market-leading companies, therefore, we require an Assembly Technician to join their existing talent team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Work to detailed engineering drawings and schematics
• Assemble precision machined components
• Working with various hand tools and equipment

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

• Minimum 3 years assembly experience 
• Able to assemble small, intricate parts
• Minimum 3 years in a precision engineering environment
• Able to use hand held assembly tools
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
