EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Programmer to join a precision engineering company located in Derby, working on a permanent basis.

Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Your responsibilities include:

• Creating programs using CAD-CAM software (Seimens NX Unigraphics) for 3 and 5-axis CNC Machinery 
• Working from Engineering drawings / 3D models
• Manual inspection of machined components

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

• 3+ years experience  online and offline programming experience 
• Confidence proving out programs 
• Ability to produce complex programs using CAD-CAM software such as Siemens NX, Catia, Solidworks, etc
• Able to use online software packages such as Heidenhain, Siemens, Fanuc or other similar systems 
• Able to create programs for CNC Milling and/or CNC Turning machines 
• Knowledge of implementing tool offset management
• Previous experience in producing programs for complex components, ideally within aerospace, motorsport, nuclear, oil & gas or power sectors
• Confidence creating tooling jigs and fixtures
