What does the company do?
EMBS Engineering is in partnership with a precision engineering company located in Northampton that is a leading specialist in the manufacturing of precision-engineered components. Due to our client's increased workload, they are looking to expand their Quality Division. They are therefore looking for experienced Quality Inspectors to join their growing team and support with new and exciting projects.


What does the role involve?
Located at their site in Northampton, you will be working alongside talented engineers on modern, up-to-date machinery, testing yourself against challenging intricate parts and materials. As a Quality Inspector, you will be able to perform detailed inspection of precision components in line with customer and industry specifications, ensuring component conformity.

What experience do you need?

• Strong quality inspection background
• Previously worked with complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil & Gas etc
• Ability to perform inspection activities (both visual and dimensional) using manual measuring equipment
• Experience of carrying out First off and Final Inspection 
• Confidence identifying non-confirming products 
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communications skills and the ability to work well within a team

We are looking for candidates who have worked as a Quality Inspector, Manual Inspector, CMM Inspector, Engineering Inspection, NDT Inspector or in a role of a similar nature where quality inspection is a key part of your role.
