Mechanical Assembly Fitter 

Salary: OTE £17.50 per hour

EMBS Engineering is the exclusive recruitment partner for an award winning precision engineering company located in Nottinghamshire that is a leading specialist in the manufacture of machined and fabricated turn-key components.

As such, our client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their growing team. 

This is a great opportunity for Mechanical Fitters, Assembly Fitters, Mechanical Assemblers, Bench Engineers etc. who are looking to utilize their skills and grow in a company that specializes in the manufacture of complex, detailed components for some of the most demanding and buoyant industry sectors such as Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Defence etc. working with clients such as Rolls Royce.

Based at their site in Nottingham, you will be working alongside talented engineers, testing yourself against challenging intricate parts and materials such as Inconel, Titanium and Hastelloy. 

What experience do you need?

• Previous assembly/fitting/bench engineering experience within Engineering
• Experience of welding, deburring, pot riveting, countersinking, finishing, polishing etc
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience of working with metallics i.e. stainless steel, aluminum, titanium etc
• Ability to use hand held and power tools - grinders, cutters, drills, saws, torque wrenches etc

• Shifts Available include day shift or afternoon shift 
• £14.00 per hour on days 
• £17.50 per hour on afternoons
• Overtime available at premium rates - x1.5 after 39 hours
