EMBS have recently started working in partnership with a reputable, well-established precision engineering company that specialises in the manufacture of complex components for various industry sectors including Aerospace, Oil & Gas and Automotive sectors.

Situated in Wolverhampton, a hub for prestigious engineering companies, our client is involved in the full end to end cycle of its products, manufacturing parts through various advanced machining methods as well as some assembly and fabrication. They support some of the most demanding customers across the globe and have held long term relationships with these customers due to the world class service and high quality of parts produced.

They produce safety critical components from a variety of materials including exotics in prototype, small and medium batch quantities. Operating across multiple units, they specialise in their chosen niche areas and are well equipped to supporting their customers needs.

Due to continued growth, we are in the market for a Quality Engineer to join a small yet talented team of Quality individuals, working on a permanent basis. This is a brand new role and thus a very exciting opportunity for an experienced, proven Quality Engineer to join and flourish.

Individuals will be experienced quality personnel who have previous backgrounds in working for precision engineering companies that manufacture sub-assembly, critical components through machining capabilities and can therefore pull from past experiences to offer new / alternative solutions to help increase / improve results, efficiencies, and deliverables.


Critical success factors for this role, required by applicants are:

  • Previous Quality Engineering experience within a precision engineering company - ideally supplied into Aerospace but other markets such as Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Defence or Motorsport will also be considered
  • Knowledge / working experience within organisations that possess machining capabilities
  • Involved with sub assembly, small to medium sized components
  • Worked with various materials including exotics (Hastalloy, Inconel, Duplex, Titanium etc.) as well as standard steels
  • Knowledge in Root Cause Analysis, Problem solving and Corrective actions, including all associated tools and activities - 8D, 5Y etc.
  • Sound understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Ability to carry out internal audits
  • Worked to ISO9001:2015 and AS9100 rev D standards
